Adoption and Foster Care Support Group

-
Come to a safe space and connect with other adoptees and foster care children in the community!
-
Gain support and acceptance from fellow group members.
-
The group is designed to give children somewhere to talk about their struggles that may be associated with being a child of adoption or a child in the foster care system.
-
We will tackle issues such as self-identity, issues with parenting, cultural acceptance, relationships, grief, self-love, and more!
-
Finally, we will provide necessary and beneficial coping skills to better handle various problems that may come up in everyday life.
Who: Adoptees and those in Foster Care ages 8 - 12 years.
When: Thursdays from July 11 - Aug 22 (7 weeks total) 3:30 - 5:00 pm.
